Create a Dementium 2 Ad, Win The Game and a DSi XL

Astute readers may be familiar with the Bright Dawn Treatment Center, either from the unsavory depiction of the mental health facility in Dementium 2, or via the multitude of rumors revolving around the staff’s dishonorable conduct and reliance upon un-anesthetized organ abstraction. With all the bad press surrounding Bright Dawn, the patient population has dwindled considerably.

If an effort to thwart the tide of negative press and to reinvigorate the chain of clinics, SouthPeak Games and Tech-Gaming are seeking submissions for Bright Dawn’s upcoming campaign to bolster their image. For their efforts, two artists will be awarded a DSi XL along with a copy of Dementium 2 for their noble efforts- which presents an ideal way to experience the upcoming DS title’s menacing gameplay.

Simple create an advertisement like the one pictured above, and host the image at a site such as Flickr, PhotoBucket, and ImageShack. Post a link to the artwork in this thread, along with your email address in the proper space (we promised not to share your data with Bright Dawn personnel). Periodically, we’ll be posting our favorites, for all to admire, so check back often. Winners will be announced on April 28th, 2010; the contest is open to residents of U.S. and Canadian territories. To allow all aspiring artists a chance at winning, we’ll pick the best overall advertisement, as well as one random entry, drawn from a pool of all ‘serious’ submissions.

    Also, any way on knowing if submissions were accepted?

  106. I was talking about all your “here is my link again” posts. Of all your pic links I count a total of 9. Peppering these guys with your links won’t get you any favors I’m sure. And yes, you are flooding, and potentially ruining, a perfectly awesome contest.

    1. April 21st: Posted the #1 ad/entry (link)

    2. April 22nd: Tinypic was down, so I posted it again asking also if there was a limit of submissions.

    3. April 23rd: Posted the #2 ad/entry (link); also posted the first in that same reply, to note that it was a different entry, not the same or an update.

    4. April 28th: Posted the #3 ad/entry (link). Like with #2, also added the previous 2 entries, also to note that it was a new one.

    On that same 4th post (with link) also replied wit ha link to the unedited image that I used for #3, because..at some forum, people were talking about how my entry was taken from someplace else and/or already done; so posted the unedited image as I said “just in case”.

    My other reply was without a link asking at what time the contests ended, since there’s a 3 hour difference in this forum, to when I post something.

    Oh well..Guess I’ll be wrong anyway..
    So if I sound like I’m dragging/flooding things, then sorry..it wasn’t my intention.

    I had in my mind that “if no email is received in 24 hours, I wasn’t a winner”….plus people not liking me posting my old entries along the new ones….so I just assumed that you won “overall best” and Horrorfan won “random”.
