E3 2010- Photostream

Venimus, vidimus, vicimus. Across a span of four days, the Tech-Gaming crew endured seas of heaving crowds, sweltering venues, and a unrelenting trek between the South and West halls of the Los Angeles Convention Center to bring our readers these images of the 2010 Electronic Entertainment Expo.  So go ahead – grab the slide bar, and make your way through the show floor where an assorted collection of zombies, ninjas, luchadores, robots, and even the sporadic booth babe await your gaze.

  1. Do you guys agree that Nintendo has the best press event?

Who got the Slim 360? Deagle?

  2. Desert, did you and Ship take a romantic ride in the Virgin armored car together and discuss MONSTER RACERS?

  3. Either those Harry Potter Lego statues are huge, or that guy in the background is really small.

  4. You’re kidding me.

Google that, my friend, and open a history book once in a while.

  5. You guys get to go to E3 and complain about the “sweltering venues”? If I got a change to go, I wouldn’t bitch or moan in the slightest.

  6. Looks like E3 might have been better this year than in the past couple ones.

  7. “Better” is a subjective term: if you mean it photographs better, then you are correct, sir. The booths themselves were much more impressive this year. However, there were about 3 times as many people, and almost everything was either appointment only or only shown to awards pre-show judges. The price of opening the floodgates to twitter journalists and solo podcasters is that publishers’ focus has shifted to controlling information and the Journo Elite have become that much more…well, elite.
Yes, for someone who wasn’t trying to get anything done, or someone who was interested in getting swag, it was a much better show. But for someone who is trying to see games and forge connections to make sure that they have stuff to review over the course of the year, it was a very difficult show.

  8. Ive listened to a few podcasts and even the “Journo Elite” had problems getting staff in and everything organized.

Will you guys do at E3 podcast. I tried listening to the Giant Bomb one, but it’s just drunken nonsense this week. I don’t know why pod-casters have to be tipsy to talk. It’s pretty annoying, really.

  9. Yep, that woman on day 3 was pretty annoying. Just listen to their regular show.

  10. Well, we’re all from LA, so the food was just like every other day. DEagle and Tide skipped the party scene, but I might be able to dig up some pictures that my girlfriend took at the CAG party.

  11. I just sent the finished product to DEagle for approval. Podcast should be dropping in a matter of hours (or tomorrow, if he’s too busy)

  12. You said Desert and poop in the same sentence. I know he’s laughing somewhere.

  13. Hahah I’ll take that as a compliment then? Good to see I got on to tech-gaming lmfao.
