New Game Releases: April 16th-22nd, 2015
From Shovel Knight, Joe Danger and even Donkey Kong, familiar faces fill this week’s schedule of new releases. Luckily, for those yearning for novelty, there are a few titles offering freshness- whether through the two new premium games to hit the StreetPass Mii Plaza or by way of the A-Train franchise’s expedition onto 3DS screens.

Robert’s Pick: Most games are familiar with meticulously-modeled recreations of real-world movement, whether through Just Cause 2’s simulation of wanton destruction or Dead or Alive’s breast physics. But likely many might be unacquainted with the Umihara Kawase series’ exhibition of fishing line physics. Think Bionic Commando with less of an emphasis on offensive weaponry and a large dose of monofilament elasticity, and you might get a good sense of the game’s quirky mechanics. While twenty dollars might seem a bit pricey for a wildly unconventional experience, ask yourself this: when was the last time you confronted near-photorealistic fish with a set of legs?
A-Train 3D: City Simulator is $30? GTFO!
Wasn’t Westerado in last week’s new releases?
It’s out today.
You’ve been pushing that game like you’re getting a portion of the profits!
I do the social media thingies.
What? No more IndieOutlook?
There’s more IndieOutlook yet to come 🙂 I was just talking about my Tech-Gaming content oversharing on ’em social media stuffs.
Nintendo, you disappoint me. Charging for StreetPass games now. I thought we were friends.
Thanks, Robert.
I just wanted to show another site’s version of new releases:
DK Danky Kang is here.
Busty schoolgirls always clinch the artwork for the week.
Tittielicious: Delicious Titties sounds like a fun game.
Oh, wait….nevermind.
Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China sounds interesting. And $10 isnt too bad.
ACC: China is 2.5D. All of a sudden I’m interested. I like 3D AC, but I’m ready for something different.
I used to be excited for AC games. Now I feel Ubi has milked the damn franchise to death. The teet is dry, guys.
Pretty much my feelings as well. I do hope that Watch Dogs gets another chance, because the idea seemed pretty cool.
You should review something on the Umihara Kawase series. At the very least give background if you review the game.

GUYS! SERIOUSLY!
Yeah, adding cross-buy (and I think cross-save) is seriously cool. This is the version, you’ve been waiting for.
