DesertEagle’s Pick: With this week’s deluge of tiles, narrowing it one to one title is a tough call. Kirby’s Epic Yarn, Vanquish, and Fallout New Vegas are cater to different facets of my personality. Until anyone makes a game about a pink, ass-kicking robot who scavenges through a post-apocalyptic landscape, I’m going to have to go with this trifecta of fun.
SeanNOLA’s Pick: I never finished Fallout 3, but I sure did spend a lot of time not-finishing it. After spending the weekend tying up loose ends, I’ll be picking up a copy of New Vegas so that I can once again cave under the pressure of a million in-game things to do. That’s not to say that New Vegas is the only worthwhile pick this week, but I’ll be hard-pressed to find time for Time Crisis and Costume Quest with all that Falling Out I plan on doing.
TideGear’s Pick: Things are really picking up, just in time for my birthday! Having played it at E3, my pick is definitely Vanquish. It seems to successfully combine solid Western-style design with over-the-top Japanese aesthetics and gameplay mechanics. It’s strangely Kojima-like, and I’d agree with the observation of others that bullet hell inspiration is present. I’m also interested in Kirby’s Epic Yarn, Fallout New Vegas, and Time Crisis: Razing Storm, but I’ll need more convincing of their quality.
holey shee-et that’s a lot of games!
So what’s the word on EA Sports MMA? Is it supposed to be any good?
Fallout New Vegas it is! Woo-yeah!
This list reminds me of why I love October, but my wallet hates it.
Thanks for bring the new releases back!
I have to admit the graphics on the Naruto Shippuden 2 demo have me a chub.
Kirby’s Epic Yarn tomorrow!
What is SBK X? Never heard of that one.
Thanks for bring this back, guys! And with keeping with tradition TideGear doesn’t post his picks, huh?
Why is NBA 2K11 just coming out for the Wii right now? I guess the more important question is why its coming out at all?
I’m picking up Vanquish and maybe Fallout. I guess I should wait for the GOTY edition, right?
Can you play Time Crisis Razing Storm with the gun that came with Time Crisis 4?
Man, I bought that turd and haven’t used my gun in ages.
Blazing Souls: Accelate review, please!
Costume Quest might be cool. Maybe.
Lets hope the Arcania: Gothic 4 was better than the demo. That was a big laggy mess.
When does Fable 3 come out? I thought it was this week?
I have a lot of friends that play games. Maybe 50 or so. I don’t know a single one who ever bought a Cabela game. My question- who the hell does?
Vanquish for me.
that Vanquish pic has me fired up to play the full game!
wait for the GOTY edition of My First Dollhouse also. DLC will be banging!
I’m going to me like a Chilean miner and disappear for two months with Fallout New Vegas.
NOLA are you going to review Bakugan: Defenders of the Core?
a motorcycle racing game.
I know nothing about this game. Should I?
Which ones are you reviewing this week?
Isn’t the title NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, with caps?
Some good game this week. Wow, I hope there’s a buy 1 get one free sale in the near future.
I might have to pick up DJ Hero 2.
Let me guess. With The Shoot and Time Crisis, here come the Move guns.
I have to disagree with Deagle- Comic Jumper is a pile of crap. Sure it’s funny, but it’s boring as hell and not very polished at all.
I’m really looking forward to Kirby’s Epic Yarn

I’m going to put the weekly deals up to let you guys save some $$$.
I’m curious to how Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 turn out. The demo was good, except for the boss.
Thanks, but I prefer CAG.
Quite the busy week. Too bad NPD isn’t giving info anymore.
DJ Hero 2 this week.
Lots of good games this week.
Vanquish looks awesome. I hope there’s a sale this week on it.
Salem Witch Trials seems like an unlikely game topic. Are developers running out of ideas.
I would like to, but Activision hasn’t sent a copy, so I make no promises.
Happy b-day, Karnov!!!
I cant wait for Fallout New Vegas.
it all makes sense now.
Tide was born near Halloween, Deagle near the Fourth of July, and NOLA on national depression management day.
Tell Acti, you’re the one website that would give the game a fair shake.
Kirby get!
Fallout New Vegas this week. I’ll have to wait for Kirby.
Yeah, TideGear has a pick up on a Sunday!
Fallout for me.
Is anyone worried about the 7.5 Vanquish got in Game Informer. They said the game was only 4 hours and repetitive. Now I’m thinking about waiting on it.
Screw everything else- Sesame Street: Cookie’s Counting Carnival is where its at.
Fallout New Vegas for me.
Adam, you question the quality of Fallout and Kirby? Wow!
Vanquish is on it’s way to me.
I didn’t think the first Saw game sold well enough to get a sequel. I guess I was wrong.
Where’s my Vanquish review?
They lie. I’ve put at least 5 into it and I haven’t finished it yet.
