New Releases 1/16-1/22: Cerberus Sackboy Edition
When Commander Shepard, Sackboy, and Adol Christin hit store shelves, you can be certain that January’s glacial griphold on new releases is finally beginning to thaw. Next week’s output of Two Worlds II, Lord of Arcana, and Dead Space 2 hopes to further that trend, offering a optimistic outlook for the upcoming year.

DesertEagle’s Pick: Although I never had the time to fully immerse myself in LittleBigPlanet‘s construction tools, I thoroughly enjoyed playing through other player’s custom levels. With a bolstered toolset, I’m pretty eager for LittleBigPlanet‘s 2 potential. Hopefully, I’ll be inspired enough to build that pièce de résistance that’s been lingering in my head all this time.
SeanNOLA’s Pick: I was pretty impressed with the last two Ys games which
XSEED brought to the US, and although I’ve played books 1 & 2 before,
I’m looking forward to seeing how Adol’s first adventure plays on the PSP.
Man, those Ys games keep coming out!
I’m tempted to get LittleBigPlanet 2, although I didn’t play much of the first.
I’m sure LBP2 is cool and all, but Sonys intent on selling you every damn costume, tool, and knickknack isn’t for me.
I’ll be waiting for the video that shows some drunk hillbilly throwing his Wiimote into the TV while playing PDC World Championship Darts 2010.
Plants vs. Zombies! Is there a device that doesn’t have the game on it? My washing machine maybe.
I wonder if MindJack will be any good? I would be the sucker to spend $60 to find out. Hopefully, you guys will review this before release day.
Now there’s two Sony fanboys?!?
and I keep buying them.
I’m curious if MindJack will be any good? Probably not.
Glad to see some decent games coming out.
If for The Toasted Sandwich of Time. I’ll probably pick up 2 copies because I love sammiches so much.
LBP2 CE is preordered. Is this coming out Tuesday or Wednesday?
Where’s SNOLA, Sage, and TideGear’s pcikeroos?
Here’s what I’ll be getting:

What do you guys think about the new soundtrack?
Monday Night Combat was pretty fun. I recommend PC players to check it out.
Just saw plants vs zombies and LBP2 at walmart.
So what did TideGear get fired for?
He said Monster Hunter and Disgaea is for losers 😉
Looks like a good week for the PS3 and the PSP. Everything else…Yeah, not so much.
Planets vs. Zombies for me.
Mindjack might be worth $40 for me.
Venetica is supposed to be pretty average. Thats a shame, I was looking forward to it.
Sackboy, here I come!
Trees vs. Undead, I mean….Plants vs. Zombies will be my pickup.
Mass Effect 2 will be mine.
Yep, too bad Sony’s system aren’t selling well at all.
You know I’ve been reading and listening to these guys for months. They are game geeks but hardly platform fanatics.
Animal Boxing may be the coolest concept ever. I doubt the game will live up to it though. Think about it- a match with an elephant and an giraffe or a bull and an ostrich.
Bogus info- Ys is listed as February, 2011
So far LBP 2 is just like the first. I haven’t seen many differences. I’d suggest people wait on it.
