DesertEagle’s Pick: At E3, the whole Tech-Gaming staff was glued to The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks for different reasons, making the title seems an overwhelmingly safe pick for all audiences. As a Pandemic fan (particularly Mercenaries and Destroy All Humans), I owe the guys a run through Saboteur‘s sandbox. Hopefully, the title will be a fitting elegy for the memorable developer.

TideGear’s Pick: I love a good stealth game but the death of Pandemic Studios and rumblings of mediocrity have me skeptical of The Saboteur. The Legend of Zelda series always seems to have a tough time holding me. What I saw of Spirit Tracks at E3, and what I have heard since, has me pretty interested. I just wish I got Metroid games more often!

Robert Allen

Since being a toddler, Robert Allen has been immersed in video games, anime, and tokusatsu. Currently, his days are spent teaching at two southern California colleges. But his evenings and weekends are filled with STGs, RPGs, and action titles and well at writing for Tech-Gaming since 2007.

  1. Desert, are you French? What’s will the occasional French word or mention of the Eiffel tower?

  2. The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. I have a feel all the guys are going to pick this one this week.

  3. Sad to hear about Pandemic, I also move the first Mercs.

LOTR: Conquest and Mercenaries 2 were a bit disappointing though.

  4. Thinking about getting Saboteur, but I’m a bit pressed for funds in this holiday season.

  5. Wait they broke Monkey island up into parts? How much does it cost to play the whole thing?
