“Is this the real life, is this just fantasy?” No, friends it’s just the revitalization of the new release list. The summer drought appears to be waning with a healthy selection of DLC and retail titles.

DesertEagle’s Pick: While I should be working my core with Daisy Fuentes Pilates, I’ll probably be exercising my vocal cords with SingStar Queen. Yep, the old Deagle likes to belt out an off-key song when not fragging foes.

SeanNOLA’s Pick: I enjoyed Fallout 3, but I really geeked out for Teenage Mutant NinjaTurtles: Turtles in Time: Reshelled at E3.  I’ve been excited forweeks, despite it’s terrible name.

TideGear’s Pick: I‘d like to believe that G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra isn’t mediocre at best, but it probably is. So, do I wan’t more aliens in my Fallout? Yes, please, Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta!

  1. I noticed G.I. Joe has selling for $50 instead of $60. Is that an indication that the game will be not so good?

  2. For those interested, the PS3 Version of SingStar Queen has these songs:

    * A Kind of Magic
    * Hammer to Fall
    * Killer Queen
    * Radio Ga Ga
    * The Show Must Go On

    Both the PS2 and PS3 version have these:

    * Another One Bites the Dust
    * Bicycle Race
    * Bohemian Rhapsody
    * Breakthru
    * Crazy Little Thing Called Love
    * Don’t Stop Me Now
    * Fat Bottom Girls
    * I Want it All
    * I Want to Break Free
    * Innuendo
    * One Vision
    * Play the Game
    * Somebody to Love
    * These are the Days of Our Lives
    * Tie Your Mother Down
    * Under Pressure
    * We are the Champions
    * We Will Rock You
    * Who Wants to Live Forever
    * You’re My Best Friend

  3. It sure is from Rise of the Cobra Hopefully, it’s better than Haze, but I’ll reserve judgment until playing it…

  4. Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta, if the reviews are good or at lest decent. I think I’ve spend over $100 on the game now.

  5. Strangely, I might take a look at World Championship Athletics. I like those Wii olympics games

  6. You missed out on a chance to pick on a Hannah Montana game. Don’t let this happen again!

  7. They made a couple back in it’s hey-day. The best was Konami’s Space Harrier style arcade game, but there were also games on the Atari and C64 and 2 games on the NES (one of which was not that bad).

  8. Eyepatched, before you get all excited, remember cartridges are technically Read-Only Memory. So it’s just a (bad) reference to retro gaming.

  9. They are not, and it’s a realistic looking duck hunting game with no snickering dog.
