New Releases for the Week of April 3rd, 2011

Ferocious creatures abound in this week’s new releases. From The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile‘s lifeless samurai, Hoard‘s malevolent dragons to Dino D-Day‘s nationalistic Noasaurus, evil in undeniably ubiquitous. Heck, there’s even something irrefutably sinister with those Zhu Zhu Puppies– we’re sure those robotic canines are going to become self-aware and tear through our collection of kitten plushies.

SeanNOLA’s Pick
: Yikes- tough week for videogames! Well, if you don’t have the PS3 or PSP versions, I’ll suggest Hoard, now that it’s out on the PC and Mac. As far as new console releases go, I’ll take a pass for the week. I’m sure our wallets could use the break.

DesertEagle’s Pick
: If Sonic Spinball came with a grappling hook, the results wouldn’t be far removed from the careening action of Star Drone. PlayStation Plus players get the game for four dollars- making this lightweight diversion an irresistible pickup.

Samurage’s Pick: I have to go with Hoard this week.  I mean, not since Trogdor have I been
compelled to channel my inner dragon and flame villages to a charred crisp.  As an owner of both a Mac and a PC, I’m excited to
see that it’s Steam supported; buy the game once, and you can play on both systems.

  1. I didn’t know The Dishwasher had a sequel. I hope this one isn’t quite as hard.

  2. I’ll pick up “No Releases” For the 3DS. Got my preorder money on it already.
