Ten-hut! Drop your booze and grab those BDUs- with both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Metal Gear Solid HD Collection hitting consoles this week, players better have their fatigues laundered. If the old battle dress uniforms don’t quite fit they were they used to there’s plenty of fat-burning, muscle-tightening exercise to be found in Self-Defense Training Camp, Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2012 and maybe even Deepak Chopra’s Leela.

DesertEagle’s Pick: One of my gaming oversights has been the Metal Gear Series. Although I’ve dabbled with Sons of Liberty, Snake Eater, and Peace Walker, I’ve never been able to enjoy the gameplay amidst the protracted codec conversations. While I can’t promise finishing all three games with a review schedule which includes Skyrim, Modern Warfare 3, and Cave Story 3D, I probably won’t feel like an actualized gamer until I put in a full tour with the FOXHOUND team.

SeanNOLA’s Pick: A lot of people are going to have a hard time deciding between Skyrim, Modern Warfare 3 and Metal Gear this week. Lucky for me, that decision was made easy by the fact that I don’t really like Call of Duty and I fell asleep during our Skyrim demo at E3. Why pay $60 for a game I’ll get bored with when I can pay $50 for 3 of my favorite games?

BlueSwim’s Pick: Lets be honest, you don’t need me to tell you to buy either Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 or The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. They’re going to be great. We all know that. But if those two aren’t your thing, there’s still plenty to choose from. For me, the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is the stand-out of the rest of the pack. An HD remake of Snake Eater is worth the collection’s price of admission all by itself. Bundle Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Peace Walker with it and you have yourself an excellent deal. You can do far worse than three great Metal Gear Solid games and I’m looking right at you, The Black Eyed Peas Experience.

  7. Wow, some good games coming out this week. I can’t decide on Metal Gear or Cave Story and I can’t really afford both.
