Podcast 5-2: Yars Wars

This week, Tech-Gaming’s beloved trio offers impressions of Call of Duty: Black Ops, Horde, Majin and The Forsaken Kingdom, Ys: The Oath in Felghana, as well as Atari Greatest Hits: Volume One. To discuss the recent PSP port of Knights in the Nightmare as well as The Cursed Crusade, we welcome Atlus’ Aram and Scott to the show, before wrapping everything up with a generous helping of game trivia.

Don’t forget to send your questions for our next mailbag, and subscribe to the Tech-Gaming Podcast on iTunes. Leaving a review would be an cool thing to do; and keep us from begging for feedback every show.

  3. Good show so far. Thanks guys for getting right into the gaming talk and now messing around too much.

  4. Two shows in two weeks is pretty good. Lets keep that trend going.

I need to play some Yars!

  5. Yes. We’re going to make some changes in the coming weeks that will help us to get podcasts to you guys on a more regular basis (and significantly improve the show at the same time).

  6. thanks, NOLA!

I really enjoy listening to your show!

I really like the interviews and trivia. Then help make the T-G show different.

  7. A bit of rock in the game? I’m surprised. Those must be from boss attacks.

Also: Where was the Crescent Pale Mist talk, TideGear?

  8. My question for the show: Have you guys ever bought ANY non-game DLC? Avatar clothes, HOME stuff, themes?

  9. It’s passable – I guess “disappointing” would be a more accurate word than “bad.” It certainly isn’t worth $15. Maybe $5?

  10. Thanks for the Atari discussion. I’m sure Yars Revenge will be in Vol. 2 unless they are making a third one.

  11. I don’t know, I bought it and it’s ok, but not great. Sure they could have made new designs, but then things would have moved away from Sonic world.

    I’d say it’s worth $10.

  12. Bought Knights and the bonus game today. I ‘m hopeless lost but working my way through it.

  13. That stuff is a waste of time. Really charging people for a JPG? Thats got to be the greatest racket of all time.

  14. Yep, reviews of the $99 console would be appreciated. I’m debating whether or not to get one.
