  1. Wow, glad to see you all are doing just fine (and I might say “BETTA”) without Adam and Sean. The show is on a roll.

  2. Wow, I didn’t hear about Takeshi Miyaji’s death. RIP.

Looks like a great show so far. FYI- I unsubscibed from Joystiq’s borecast and subscribed to yours.

    1. Ok, listen to about half and so far my one complaint is that the Super Godzilla talk goes on for way too long, especially for a SNES game. I mean you guys talked about it more than Catherine.

      1. “…especially for a SNES game”!? What’s that supposed to mean!? Super Nintendo > Every Other System Ever. 😉

Catherine was talked about quite a bit in the last episode.

          1. Oh yeah, I know. I was just trolling. XD

I primarily play older games because they’re more economical and there isn’t much that’s come out lately that I have been interested in enough to pick up at launch. Thrift Stores have spoiled me!

  3. A Grandia themed show? This is why I love you guys. I don’t think anyone else care enough to do such a thing. Thumbs up for quality over pandering to your audience. (Yes Weak-end Confirmed, I’m talking about you these days)

  4. Wow, what made you hate Microsoft and Xbox so much these days? Your guys dislike for the Kinect isn’t even rational. I’ll be reading sites are aren’t so biased in the future.

    1. I don’t think we’re hating on them. One of the things that sets us apart is that we demand a level of quality from companies comparable to their ability to deliver. Microsoft has a product that they have not improved on the whole time it’s been out, and which is glitchy or non-functional for many of their titles released for it. Listen to our specific complaints and read up on them–>if you disagree or can prove us wrong, then I at least will back down from seeming so biased, but if it sounds about right, then I think we aren’t in the wrong for calling them out on shoddy workmanship.
      Cheers!

      1. I agree with you, but then again the Kinect hasn’t been out for a year yet. Let them get the kinks out and let’s talk in November.

  5. I want to know what “flashbanging the bear means” or know Deagle, maybe I don’t.

    1. Ernest Evans, can you get any of the mp3s to download? I tired and all links give me a 404 error? If you can help me out with this, you’ll have earned it 😉

        1. Well other than the one song I tried to download which crashed my computer (which I’m hoping didn’t have nything nasty in it), I’m rolling around in nostalgic bliss right now. you Win EE. Hopefully someday I can afford the actual discs lol

        2. Well other than the one song I tried to download which crashed my computer (which I’m hoping didn’t have nything nasty in it), I’m rolling around in nostalgic bliss right now. you Win EE. :-*

Hopefully someday I can afford the actual discs lol

    1. I’m glad someone got a kick out of it besides me.

Thanks for all the great celebratory art from our readers, too!

  6. I agree with you, but then again the Kinect hasn’t been out for a year yet. Let them get the kinks out and lets talk about this in November.

  7. Wow, the end of the show is really funny. Some of the most hilarious stuff you guys have ever done.

      1. HAHA, I wouldn’t have laughed until listening to the whole show.

Great job Blue, the Eternal Finger!

  8. When I read the description, I thought this show was going to be a depressing one. Wow, anything but! I laughed really hard at least 5-6 times.

  9. Sincerity and immaturity flawlessly blended.

T-Gers, this was one of my favorite episodes ever. I mean manage de XXX, NIS interview with Prinnies, Blue’s Super Godzilla analysis. Pure podcasting gold.

  10. Well other than the one song I tried to download which crashed my computer (which I’m hoping didn’t have nything nasty in it), I’m rolling around in nostalgic bliss right now. you Win EE. :-*

Hopefully someday I can afford the actual discs lol

  11. When I play a game the second time I play as,Deagle. I power up my guns and put ny character in a Japanese schoolgirl uniform whenever possible.

  12. Thanks guys, I really needed a few laughs- my cat of 13 years just passed away this week. First thing to make me smile was you three.

    1. I’m glad we were able to help. I lost my cat of 13 years back in 2009, so I know exactly what you’re going through. My advice to you is to never associate thoughts of your cat with sadness. Only remember the good times. It’s hard to do right now, I know, but be sure to focus on the happy memories.

  13. Great show. M de T got a few laughs out of me, as did Lara Croft knowing “Algebra”

  14. Kickass art, music, and show this week. Kudos for giving Miyaji appreciation- Grandia was (and is) a kick ass RPG.

  15. Other than the Super Godzilla talk going on for a bit too long, the show was great. NIS interview was crazy. Were those voices planned? Prinny was a bit hard to understand but funny.

  16. Great idea for a Grandia-themed showed. Shows you guys have some class underneath those rough exteriors.

  17. Great show, one of your best yet.

Sad to hear about Takeshi Miyaji, I wouldn’t have known he passed away unless it was for your site. I guess I have Deagle to thank for that.

Sage’s talk about character changes was great also, and Blue’s last part of the show (and reaction) was great. I was literally laugheing out loud to my myself with my earphones in. Crazy man on the loose!

  18. Excellent show thus week. Deagle, Sage, and Blue this is one of your best. Really liked the NIS interview.

  19. Wow, Grandia has some good tunes. Funny the one before the NIS interview has a definite Disgaea feel to it, coincidence?

  20. Pretty good one this week, although Prinny was hard to hear.

BTW- I’m sure Prinnies have laughed before.

  21. I’m surprized military guy didn’t start a fire with the flash bang. They would have scared Yogi away also.

  22. Pretty epic show. It took 3 days but I finally made it though.

Great tribute, music, interview, trivia and VG talk. Keep us the great work.
