The Tech-Gaming Podcast, World 2-7

With MamaNOLA in town, Sean goes on hiatus this week, compelling DesertEagle and TideGear to forge ahead valiantly. Without our beloved Monster Hunter, the duo channels their feminine side, discussing the merits of Sally’s Salon and similar time-management titles. Before things get too surreal, we find serenity in discussions of Echo Shift, Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love and Sushi Go Round and whether years of playing Brain Age games have actually made us any smarter. Perhaps those cerebral diversions may assist listeners with this week’s taxing trivia.

  1. I can usually tell in the first couple minutes if I wil like the show. I’m going to enjoy this one it seems.

  2. I had the same though about Brain Age. Why am I not a math genius yet? Why cant I figure out the proper tip amount?

Answer- cause my phone does it for me.

  3. What a lens flare? When someone takes your picture? You guys aren’t that big…

  4. Of course it doesn’t. Otherwise teacher would just give them out to kids, while they kick back all day.

  5. That’s touching, but I give this episode my seal of approval; it’s a good listen. Plus, I did all the editing, so it’s kinda like I’m there in spirit.

  6. Yeah, I do like the three man crew better. Even better fill the fourth chair!

  7. Its the burst of light in the background. The new lens flare looks like your competing with the Virgin Mary. LOL.

  8. Not as funny as the usual show. Missing Snola’s snide and Desert’s poop jokes.

  9. The three man crew is definitely the way to go. I didn’t mind the lack of an intro.

  10. My question is for the three of you-

NOLA, How many hours would you say you put into the whole Monster Hunter Series.

Tide, same question, but with Knights of the Nightmare.

Desert, you many hours in military FPS games?

  11. Q: Imagine a world of games that only use motion control.

Do you join the pack, cut back on your gaming, find a new hobby, or give completely.

  12. I have a question!

Whats the most important part of a game for you personally? Graphics, sounds, story, characters, etc.

  13. Yeah, I’m waiting for that too. Hopefully, you post it before I break down and just buy it.

  14. What do you guys think that deleted scene from the Japanese version of Peace Walker was all about? violence/sex?
